Conceptual Product Design
The first stages of a design project are where some of the most important or most impactful decisions are made. This is what I really like, make sure the design will fit both the client and the user needs as well as fit the concept outlines.
Ideation sketches help in the exploration phase of a design process. Sketches can be used to create a vast amount of variations in a short time span with limited resources. The sketches are the first assets to set a direction and make well founded choices.
3D Concept visualisation helps in the creation of powerfull and convincing assets. These can be used to show clients the concept before investing in production of physical prototypes.

Visualisation
Stories are great! and a picture is worth a 1000 words.
I enjoy the creation of a visual story which captures the essence of a presentation, vision or strategy. The visualisation can be used to be shared with you public and provide them with a visual summary of the valuable content without forcing them to read long reports or boring meeting minutes.
Prototyping
Using both traditional and modern trades, producing prototypes is one of the stages in the design process I enjoy most. Being able to create a tangible product you can hold, feel and test brings a product design to life.

Tools

3D Printer
A 3D printer is a powerful tool enabling me to produce highly accurate physical models based on digital 3D CAD designs.
I am using an Anycubic Photon Mono X – Resin printer.
Max print volume: 120x192x245 mm
Laser Cutter
Cooperating with the MakerCave gives me access to a Laser Cutter. This tool allows me to create accurate parts made from sheet materials like plywood, MDF, cardboard or bamboo.
I am using a AlgoLaser Alpha Diode Laser
Max material dimensions: 400×400 mm (thickness depending on material)

Sticker Plotter
Using a desktop cutting machine allows me to cut thin materials using patterns or designs made in the computer to produce stickers or template out of paper, vinyl sticker materials, fabrics and more.
I am using a Silhouette Cameo 4
Max material dimensions: 300x1000mm
Airbrush
To make sure physical models are painted properly, using an airbrush helps to get the paint coating on the model in very thin layers with a extremely high accuracy.
I have three different airbrushes:
- H&S Infinity CR+
- H&S Evolution
- Iwata CM-SB

A lot of sketching & drawing tools!
Sketching is one of my primary skills. Using both traditional as well as digital materials I mastered a wide range of techniques to visualize ideas and designs.
Digital tools
- Wacom Cintiq 24
- Wacom Intuos 5
Traditional materials such as Copic Markers, Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and an original drafting table
